Meet the Sheriff
Sheriff Mark Gerrells leads the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office with a focus on public safety, service, and accountability. As the elected Sheriff of Rabun County, the Sheriff is responsible for overseeing law enforcement operations, supporting detention and court-related functions, and guiding the office’s broader mission to protect the people of this community.
Under the Sheriff’s leadership, the office works to balance proactive law enforcement with strong community relationships, recognizing that public trust is essential to effective service.
